In support of “The Bulgarian Christmas”

The proceeds from the performance of the play "The Assailants" on 20 December 2006 in the Sofia theatre Sulza i Smyah, will be donated to “The Bulgarian Christmas”. The play is a joint production of the Sulza i Smyah theatre and the Municipal Theatre in Pernik.
The Sofia Puppet Theatre will donate the proceeds from the plays which will be performed on 25 December 2006, to the initiative “The Bulgarian Christmas”. The fairy tale Shoes for Happiness will start at noon in the theatre salon on Gurko Street in the capital. The spectacle Silent Night, Holy Night starts at 11.30 a.m. in the theatre salon on Yanko Sakuzov Blvd.
The Gestim synchronic song and dance group is organising a charity concert at the Central Marketplace in Sofia on 15 December 2006. The concert starts at 6 p.m.
For the second successive year the pupils from the First English Language School are organising a Christmas charity concert in support of “The Bulgarian Christmas”. The concert will start at 6 p.m. at the Sveta Sophia Hall on 15 December 2006.
The Union for Pernik citizens association is organising a Christmas charity ball at the Struma Hotel in Pernik on 15 December 2006.
All children from the 108 groups in the children’s establishments in Vratsa municipality, their parents and teachers support the initiative “The Bulgarian Christmas”. On 22 December 2006, at 3 p.m. the foyer of Vratsa town hall will host a charity exhibition of sourvachki (decorated cornel twigs, part of the national Christmas tradition), greeting cards and traditional Bulgarian dishes.
The young musicians from the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School will present a charity concert on 22 December starting at 6 p.m. in the school’s new concert hall.
The funds raised during all charity events will be donated to the account of “The Bulgarian Christmas”.
