“The Bulgarian Christmas - 2003":

Stoyan Petrov, Stanislav Angelov and Regina Stoyanova. Medical preparation for a total BGN 179,160 were provided for the three children.

Gergana Chifchiiska, Lyudmila Gurkova, Vessela Chikova and Yordanka Buchova. Cochlear transplants were performed on the children for a total BGN 112,000.

Stoyan Borissov and Isabella Tomova. Tests, treatment and rehabilitation for a total BGN 14,100 were provided for the children

Maria Chavdarova. The girl was supported with BGN 10,486 for tests, surgery and treatment in Germany and Russia.

Ekaterina Passeva and Branimir Yotsov. Hearing aids for a total BGN 2,843 were purchased for the two children.

Boryana Lyubomirova Kuncheva. Supported with BGN 20,000 and a kidney transplant in Spain.

Nelly Krassimirova Kapourdova. EUR 12,116 were given for treatment in France.

Vyara Evgenieva Kostadinova. Supported with EUR 14,420 and BGN 2,736 for tests and treatment in France.

Ivan Lyubomirov Vassilev. BGN 15,000 paid for stem cell implantation.

Dessislava Karamiteva, Radko Kadievski, Vesselina Grahlyova, Minka Baleva. Medicines for BGN 9,600 were bought for them.

Ivan Rizakov and Marieta Pilentsova. Medicines for supporting treatment for a total BGN 4,800 were provided.

Specialised Hospital for Active Treatment of Children’s Diseases - Department of Paediatric Nephrology and Haemodialysis - Sofia. Medical equipment and medicines for BGN 401,959 were purchased.

Clinic for Paediatric and Genetic Diseases at St. George UMHAT – Plovdiv. Modern medical equipment for BGN 456,692 was provided.

St. Anna Paediatric Clinic  - Sofia. A respirator for newborn babies worth BGN 3,011 was purchased.

Consulting room for children with impaired vision at School 28 - Sofia. Equipment for BGN 1,500 was bought.

A total BGN 1,334,953 for children in need was collected by “The Bulgarian Christmas” through telephone calls, SMS and donations via bank transfers. The funds raised from calls to the common telephone number provided by M-Tel, Globul and BTC alone, amount to BGN 868,491.

The children whose medical treatment is supported byВ  "The Bulgarian Christmas" are chosen jointly by the Bulgarian Paediatric Association the Bulgarian Neonatology Association, the Ministry of Health and the organisers of the charity initiative. The decisions for the allocation of funds and for the purchase of medical equipment are taken with the signing of a tri-partite protocol by representatives of the Administration of the President, Nova Television and the Bulgarian National Television.
